Development of regional emergency management bases

Hyogo has been stockpiling relief goods by developing regional emergency management bases equipped with the function of stockpiling and collection/delivery of relief goods. These bases also include functions for gathering and providing lodging for relief workers. Miki Earthquake Disaster Memorial Park was opened as a regional emergency management base for the entire prefecture and 5 other regional emergency management bases were installed. Hyogo developed a base near junction point. A heliport is fully-equipped to secure air access. Miki Earthquake Disaster Memorial Park is ordinarily used for fire academy and sports facility.
